This class is ideal if you enjoy moving, flowing, and exploring your edge, while staying connected to breath and awareness. We always finish with a guided savasana, allowing time to settle, integrate the practice, and leave feeling grounded and refreshed.

BEGINNERS YOGA
Gentle · Supportive · Foundational
Our Beginners Yoga classes are gentle and supportive, designed to help you build confidence and familiarity with yoga in a relaxed, welcoming environment. We move at a steady pace, with time to explore each posture and understand how it feels in your body. Classes focus on simple sequences, clear guidance, and key foundations such as breathing, alignment, and safe movement. Everything is explained clearly, with plenty of space to ask questions and take breaks when needed. This class is ideal if you are completely new to yoga, returning after a break, or looking to strengthen your foundations at a comfortable pace. We always finish with a guided savasana, allowing time to rest, absorb the practice, and leave feeling calm and supported.

HATHA FLOW

You can expect a balanced mix of strength, mobility, and stability, with clear guidance throughout and options offered so you can work comfortably at your own level. This class is ideal if you’re looking for a thoughtful, grounding practice that builds strength and confidence without moving too fast. YIN

Our Yin classes are slow and deeply nourishing, focusing on longer held, floor based postures that gently target the connective tissues of the body. The practice is calm and unhurried, creating space to slow down and turn inward. Postures are supported and held for several minutes, encouraging deep release, stillness, and awareness. Classes are guided with clear cues and plenty of time to settle into each shape. This class is ideal if you’re looking to unwind, release tension, and balance more active practices, or simply need time to rest and reset. We always finish with a guided savasana, allowing time to fully relax, integrate the practice, and leave feeling restored.

PILATES

Welcome to Pilates with Anna here at Mountain. I’m fully qualified in mat Pilates, and in this class I’ll guide you through full body movement that focuses on top to bottom mobility, core strength, and building strength from the inside out. The aim is to help your body feel strong, supported, and really good as you move. Yes, it might burn a little at times, but we always balance challenge with encouragement, clarity, and a sense of fun. This class is ideal if you’re looking to build strength, improve posture, and move with more ease and confidence, whether you’re new to Pilates or returning to it. We always finish with a short period of rest, allowing time to reset, integrate the work, and leave feeling strong and uplifted.

This class is ideal if you’re feeling tired, stressed, or in need of a softer practice, or as a counterbalance to more active classes. We always finish with a guided savasana, allowing time to rest deeply, integrate the practice, and leave feeling calm and restored.

Our Morning Movement classes are designed to gently wake the body and ease you into the day. Movements are accessible and unhurried, with a focus on loosening the body, building light heat, and finding rhythm and flow. The emphasis is on feeling good in your body rather than perfect shapes. This class is ideal if you want to start your day feeling refreshed and mobile, whether you’re new to yoga or simply prefer a softer morning practice. MANDALA VINYASA FLOW

Our Mandala Vinyasa Flow classes offer a creative and continuous practice that moves in all directions around the mat. Sequences are built in circular patterns, encouraging fluid transitions, coordination, and a sense of flow. The practice explores a wider range of movement and spatial awareness than a traditional linear flow, while still staying grounded in breath and intention. Options are offered throughout so you can explore the practice at your own pace. This class is ideal if you enjoy creative sequencing, continuous movement, and experiencing familiar postures in new and playful ways. We always finish with a guided savasana, allowing time to settle, integrate the practice, and leave feeling balanced and centred.

YOGA FOUNDATIONS WORKSHOP

This 90 minute Yoga Foundations workshop focuses on the core standing poses you’ll see in most yoga classes. In this session we’ll break down Downward Dog High Lunge Warrior 2 Reverse Warrior Triangle We’ll explore correct alignment, key terminology, common mistakes, and accessible variations and progressions, helping you understand how these poses link together and flow smoothly from one to the next. At the end, we’ll bring everything together into a short, relaxed flow so you can really feel how it all connects. This workshop is relaxed, supportive, and open to everyone. Perfect if you’re new to yoga, returning after a break, or want to build stronger foundations and feel more confident in class.
