Join us for our Christmas, relaxing retreat experience. Watch the sunset over the Garth Mountains whilst enjoying great yoga, Mulled wine, Mince pies, and Christmas themed wellness practices.

ITINERARY

 

Yoga Class - Beginning with 60 minutes of Vinyasa Flow, spending time working through a dynamic flow of postures designed to strengthen both body and mind; simultaneously relaxing and de-stressing the entire body in the most beautiful natural surroundings that Cardiff has to offer! You could be anywhere in the world. 

 

Break - Christmas teas, coffees and hot chocolates, mince pies and healthy snacks. A chance too for you to socialise and chat with your fellow retreat participants and teachers! 

 

Wellness session - Your teacher will guide you through handpicked wellness techniques and practices which may include Wreath making, Breath-work, Reflexology (learn amazing hand massage techniques) and other exercises carefully designed to reduce stress and anxiety, improve focus, and get you into the festive spirit. All based in Mountain Yoga Studio.

 

Break - Christmas teas, coffees and hot chocolates, mince pies and healthy snacks. Plus a chance to get to know your teachers better and ask any questions. Or an opportunity to take a mindfulness nature walk around the land.

 

Yoga Class - Reconvening once again in the Mountain Yoga studio for a slower more relaxed Yin Flow session, focusing on stretching the entire body, leaving you relaxed and rejuvenated for the rest of the day!

 

Finish the afternoon with a warm glass of Mulled Wine or Prosecco whilst you watch our roaring studio fire pit and reminisce on the fantastic afternoon you’ve had!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? LADIES - We recommend Yoga pants, Leggings or shorts …..but Feel free to wear a swim suit or whatever you’re comfortable in. -Light Top -Sports Bra (optional) as there will be some movement involved in the session. …..or Feel free to wear a swim suit or whatever you’re comfortable in, but avoid anything that gets heavy when wet. MEN- -Swimming trucks, shorts or leggings -Light top (Optional), but please avoid anything that gets heavy when wet) Please Note- You will wear the same outfit throughout the experience After booking you will receive an email with all the information needed, including directions, what to wear, Kit list and more.

WHAT KIT DO I NEED? -2 x Towels (1 for the experience and one for changing) -Trainers or Sliders (but you will be bare foot for most of the experience) -Coat or Dry Robe, (especially during winter) -Dry kit to change into after the experience After booking you will receive an email with all the information needed, including directions, what to wear, Kit list and more.

HOW COLD IS THE WATER? Depending on conditions, we control the temperature between 5 and 12 degrees Celsius, providing the perfect conditions for cold water training.

HOW HOT IS THE HOT ROOM? HOT!....Our Hot Pod Safari Tent is only a few steps away from the pool and is heated to a minimum 42-degrees Celcius all year round!
